Grinding Struers Knuth rotor

Proper grinding removes damaged or deformed surface material, while introducing only limited amounts of new deformation. The goal is a plane surface with minimal damage that can be removed easily during polishing (next steps).  Using Struers grinding discs involves normally 4 steps with SiC-Paper of different grade. Usually also fine grinding is carried out in successively finer steps on SiC-Paper. Then the following polishing steps can be carried out in the shortest possible time
