The government of Norway awards 35 million NOK to NorFab for quantum research
NorFab has been awarded 35 million NOK from the Research Council of Norway to ensure that Norway keeps up in the international knowledge race on quantum technology. The funding will be allocated to enhance infrastructure for quantum research.
NorFab becomes part of the government’s new initiative on quantum technology. The aim of the project is to further develop national infrastructures to facilitate quantum technological research.
The allocation is part of the government’s new initiative on quantum technology. In addition, Norway has signed a cooperation agreement on quantum technology with the other Nordic countries, and the government has initiated the work on a national quantum strategy.
